This weekend's football preview with John Walker

With both of our local senior teams now eliminated from the FA Cup, attention turns back to the league.
On Saturday, St Ives Town FC make the short trip to Yaxley where they face one of the more improved teams this season.
Yaxley are the only Huntingdonshire side still in the FA Cup, and last weekend they produced the best performance of the UCL contingent as they travelled to Spalding United to defeat a team from the Unibond League.
Undefeated in three league games so far, Yaxley are full of confidence and will be hoping to maintain their record.
However, St Ives made their own statement of intent last weekend when they thrashed Bourne Town 8-2 on their own ground with Scott Fielding finding the net five times.
So with the league's leading scorer and the biggest win of the season behind them, the visitors will be looking to lower the Yaxley colours.
On Tuesday it is back to Westwood Road for the visit of Newport Pagnell – another UCL side still in the FA Cup.
Last season in the corresponding fixture it was very tight and St Ives needed an own goal to win by the odd goal in three so another close encounter is in prospect.
St Neots Town FC have lost their last two matches by the odd goal. But having produced fifteen goals this season in just five matches, scoring does not seem to be the problem.
Defensively they are conceding too many and on Saturday they host Boston who are so far undefeated.
Last season Boston were in the mix for the championship just after Christmas but fell away to finish sixth. However, they are still one of the most consistent performers in the league.
On Tuesday, St Neots visit Raunds where they have a fairly decent record in recent seasons.
Godmanchester Rovers are in the top three of their league table, but they feature in a cup competition this weekend.
In the first qualifying round of the FA Vase, Godmanchester find themselves travelling to Ridgeons Premier Division outfit Mildenhall Town.
The FA Vase has not been a happy competition for Godmanchester and three years ago they travelled to Mildenhall where they were beaten 6-0.
However, with only one defeat in five league matches so far – all away from home – Karl Hurst's side have enjoyed their best ever start to a season since achieving senior status.
It is business as usual in Division One of the UCL with Eynesbury Rovers looking to get back to winning ways after their home defeat by Northampton Sileby.
On Saturday they travel to AFC Kempston Rovers who were relegated back to Division One after just one very disappointing season in the top flight.
Last time the two clubs met at Kempston the visitors returned home with a point from a 1-1 draw.
Still without a win this season, Huntingdon Town will be looking to win back their status as one of those tipped for promotion this season when they travel to Daventry United.
These two sides finished fourth and fifth last season.
