The big day for sunflowers is almost here – the official measuring day for St Neots in Bloom's Giant Sunflower Competition is looming.
The competition is open to all youngsters who live in St Neots and are under 16 on the official measuring day, Saturday, September 6. The competition is being sponsored by Waterstone's bookshop in St Neots and the prizes are tokens of £15, £10 and £5.

To enter, measure the sunflower from its highest point to ground level and take a photo of it. You can include the grower(s) in the photo if you wish, but bear in mind the pictures will be published.

Post or email the picture, with details of the sunflower's height and the name, age and contact details of the grower(s) to St Neots in Bloom to: St Neots in Bloom, c/o St Neots Town Council, The Priory, St Neots, PE19 2BH. Write 'Giant Sunflower Entry' on envelope.

Or email a labelled jpeg image to St Neots in Bloom chairman, Tom McCormick at tom.mccormick@stneots-tc.gov.uk.

School entries should include a photo, height, school name and contact details, plus details of who grew the sunflower.
All entries must arrive by September 14.
